Our Function

Pure Worship Institute is a weeklong intensive “mini university” with seminars, workshops, jam sessions, listening panels, and worship encounters led by Jeff Deyo, as well as many other very special guests. This revolutionary new “school” for bands, singers, musicians, and worshipers integrates a healthy balance of spiritual and practical teaching in order to train up this generation to love Jesus with their skills and with their lives.

We will teach our students about the requirements of the Levitical musicians and singers, as well as study the life, passion and songs of King David to understand why his works are so relevant to today’s creative types. We will scour the Old and New Testament together discovering God’s incredible heart and purpose for worship, music, and His church.

Our students will learn, among many things, how to worship with an instrument, what God requires of singers and musicians, and how to war for souls through music. They will also learn how to use the latest technology, how to write and arrange songs that will stir the heart of a generation, how to better their technique, and how to plan a worship “set” while still allowing the Holy Spirit to lead.
