Jeff Deyo

Jeff Deyo is the founder of WorshipCityMinistries which exists to help people grow in relationship with God by leading them into his transforming presence, so as to better empower them to live godly lives and reach their world for Christ.  The vision for founding The Pure Worship Institute began stirring in Jeff 4 years ago, when he put together a mini traveling worship conference call the Pure Worship Tour.  It continued to grow as Jeff cultivated his passion to not only lead people in worship but to also teach them what God expects from them in worship.  It culminated in the fall of 2007 when Pastor Sam Hinn exhorted Jeff to pick up the new mantle of worship and pass it on to the next generation.  It was then that Deyo began making plans for PWI 2008 where singers and musicians from all over the country would come to Nashville to receive practical and spiritual training to become all God destined them to be for his Kingdom.   Jeff is the voice behind classic worship songs like "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever," "In the Secret" and "My Refuge," which he recorded with the original Dove Award-winning group Sonicflood. Deyo has helped invigorate the heart of worship for a whole new generation.  In his role as Sonicflood's original lead singer, primary songwriter and co-producer, Deyo saw the band's gold-certified, self-titled debut (1999) and its Grammy-nominated follow-up, Sonicpraise (2001), reach combined sales of over one million.  Deyo followed these accomplishments with the release of his debut solo album, Saturate, in early 2002. The critically-acclaimed project garnered him a 2003 Dove Award nomination for New Artist of the Year, while the single "More Love, More Power" landed at No. 1 on R&R's Christian pop radio chart.  His second solo album, Light (2003) included the powerful new worship songs, "Bless the Lord", "Your Name Is Holy, Holy" and a live version of the congregational favorite "These Hands".  His third CD, Surrender (2005), recorded "live" in New Zealand with 23,000+ worshipers at the Parachute Festival, included the very personal "Jesus, I Surrender" as well as a juiced-up cover of the internationally known "We Are Hungry".  His forth CD, "Unveil", released last year, placed Jeff with both a new record label, Indelible Creative Group, and new producer Josh "The Kurnoll" Deane and spawned anthems such as the title track and "Glory" and "Unveil" as well as rockers "Love of God" and "So In Awe".
